MEMBERSHIP
INFORMATION
- PURPOSE of the Newaygo County Conventions and Visitors Bureau is to
advance the economy of Newaygo County through the promotion of tourism and
recreational use of Newaygo County and to provide a means of
communications and cooperation between members.
- A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION funded through annual membership fees,
cooperative advertising, donations and grants.
- MISSION STATEMENT NEWAYGO COUNTY CONVENTION
AND VISITORS BUREAU is to
promote the Newaygo County areas as an overnight destination and a day
trip destination for a variety of guests. Newaygo County has four
seasons of recreation and relaxation located in the heart of West
Michigan.
- ADVANTAGES OF MEMBERSHIP IN THE CONVENTIONS
AND VISITORS BUREAU are the
coordination of efforts to increase business through tourism promotion;
you will receive a discount on your ad in our Newaygo County VisitorŐs
Guide, and promotions and links to your own site appear on our new
website.
- YOUR MEMBERSHIP HELPS TO support vital promotional efforts to increase
your business and that of other businesses in your community. Also, it
helps purchase advertising in newspapers and magazines to inform potential
visitors on where to obtain Newaygo County maps, camping information,
resort brochures, trail maps, fishing guides, etc. We mail brochures and maps to
those requesting them, and pay postage to mail News Releases about
seasonal activities and special events in Newaygo County. Your membership
helps to BUILD A BETTER ECONOMY IN NEWAYGO COUNTY.
- NEWAYGO COUNTY CONVENTIONS AND VISITORS
BUREAU MEETING ARE the third
Monday of every month, at the Tourist Center, at 1p.m.; public
invited. These meetings give
you a voice in the way Newaygo County is promoted through your
participation in CVB meetings.
