THE PURPOSE OF THE NEWAYGO COUNTY TOURIST COUNCIL  shall be to advance the economy of Newaygo County through the promotion of tourism and recreational use of Newaygo County and to provide a means of communication and cooperation between members. It's activities shall be non-partisan, non-sectional and non-sectarian. (By-laws adopted 9/10/80).

YOUR MEMBERSHIP HELPS TO Purchase advertising in newspapers and magazines to inform potential visitors on where obtain to Newaygo County maps, camping, resort brochures, trail maps, fishing guides, etc. Mail brocures and maps to those requesting them. Pay expenses of having a booth at shows to promote Newaygo County as a tourism area. Pay postage to mail news releases about seasonal activities and special events.
